I just retired my 10 yr old pre-cmonster 8 ft pro seriesII power-pole on my Hewes Redfisher 18. It still works exceptionally but it was time to be able to anchor in deer water. I went with the new 10ft blade cm2 and i couldn't be happier. With just one fishing trip so far under its belt i was extremely happy with how quiet and how fast it deploys in comparison to my previous power-pole model, and the extra reach enables me to anchor in all of my spots in chokoloskee regardless of the tide. If you want to land more fish and fish more confidently then do yourself a favor and get a 10 ft blade!
